• Step 1: Complete a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution and participate in an approved teacher preparation program

• Step 2: Receive an Institutional Recommendation from your institution of higher education

• Step 3: Complete required testing

• Step 4: Complete the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) training workshop

• Step 5: Complete a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check
