Vermont educators must pass the Praxis Core Academic Skills tests to apply for licensure. There are several exemptions that can reviewed here.
To apply to be an educator in Vermont, applicants must:
Provide official transcripts
Submit required test scores
Pay the application and license fee
Submit fingerprinting

Vermont offers alternative licensure through a "Peer Review," or License to Evaluation program. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree, complete required Praxis exams, and submit a current resume.
