In Wyoming, those applying for initial licensure with endorsements in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or Social Studies Composite must complete a Praxis II exam. More information can be found here: https://wyomingptsb.com/licensure/testing-requirements/ 

For initial certification in Wyoming, all candidates must:

• Earn a baccalaureate degree and participate in an approved Educator Preparation Program

  • This program must include student teaching 

• Submit official transcripts

• Submit two blue FBI Fingerprint Cards and complete a background check

• Demonstrate knowledge of the US and Wyoming Constitutions

• Complete required examinations

• Submit a completed application packet.
